Carbon Emissions From Schools: Where They Arise And How To R

Description:
This report quantifies for the first time the contribution of English schools to greenhouse gas emissions, and also offers scenarios for how these may change on the way to 2050. The report finds that England’s schools system is responsible for 9.4 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions per year. Heat and power used in school buildings account for 37% of those emissions.
