- This report for the National College for School Leadership (NCSL) shows that a new generation of teachers are enthusiastic about a long career in schools. The research amongst 150 teachers in the first three years of their careers reveals that 85 per cent probably or definitely want to be working in a school in 20 years, with only two per cent definitely not.
