Description:: This statistical first release (SFR) contains information on the School Workforce in England. It combines information on teacher numbers and vacancies, sickness absence and ethnicity with information on support staff, pupil: teacher ratios (PTR) and pupil: adult ratios (PAR). It shows that the overall school workforce has grown by 20,100 over the last 12 months to 767,600 – the biggest year-on-year growth since 2005. Folder: Leadership Briefings Issue 30
