No Deaf Child Left Behind

This report by the British Association of Teachers of the Deaf (BATOD) shows that two-thirds of teachers of deaf pupils work an extra day a week to cope with workload and teacher shortages. The result is that the education of deaf children is lagging behind their peers, while their teachers are being crushed by the demands of the role.
