Engaging struggling readers


Moved by her experiences with struggling readers, author Cathy Farr rewrote her children’s novel to make it accessible to all. Here she explains what the process taught her about how children’s language skills develop, and what this means for the kind of stories and support they need to find pleasure in reading.
