New Guidance For Tackling Discipline In Schools


New guidance documents have been published by the government for consultation on tackling discipline in schools. The documents summarise the legal powers and duties that govern behaviour and attendance in school and explains how they apply to teachers, governing bodies, pupils and parents. The documents comprise: Ensuring Good Behaviour in Schools, Behaviour and Discipline in Schools: Guidance for Governors, Behaviour and Discipline In Schools: Guidance for Headteachers and School Staff, Use of Reasonable Force, Screening, Searching and Confiscation.
