How Colleges Improve


This review has been written to illustrate the characteristics of those further education colleges which improved their performance between first (2001–05) and second cycle (2005–09) Ofsted inspections. The purpose of this review document is to stimulate discussion in the further education sector about how improvement might best be accelerated and barriers to change overcome.
